Expansion on a concept developed during the 2023 Game Maker's Toolkit game jam.
Highlights
- Coordinated with designers, artists, and audio to ensure work came together smoothly
- Designed a damage model to trigger events based on how well mech systems are maintained by the player
- Developed an adaptable interaction system to support a wide variety of items and tools

- Objectives communicated through dialog cues of increasing severity
- Neglected objectives result in faster depletion of resources and more fires to be extinguished
Physical Inventory
- Massive items carried in the player's arms add to the feeling of being a cog in the machine
- Choosing to deal with a higher priority can lead to picking up the pieces of your previous task
